Disney+ and Marvel Studios introduced the fans to its first on-screen Muslim superhero in the Ms. Marvel trailer.
The project – that will stream from June 8 – shows the superhero Kamala Khan aka Ms. Marvel, played by Canadian-Pakistan actor Iman Vellani, a Muslim teenager hailing from Jersey City.
The future is in her hands.

Here’s how social media reacted to the upcoming show’s trailer.
I loved this #MsMarvel trailer:
it’s not just a high school show that would look too close to Spider-Man: it has its own identity with the visual effects and teenage hallucinations, it’s also about a girl, a muslim family and she’s totally a geek!https://t.co/OyIOpwh6Dp

Ms. Marvel is a history-making project.
Iman Vellani bagged the role following a wide-scale search by Marvel Studios. She never thought she would get the chance to feature with her favourite stars such as Captain Marvel when it comes to safeguarding the world from evil.

Ms. Marvel has an idealistic approach and extreme powers to defend and improve the world.
Earlier, the fans got their hands on a few leaked images from the sets of Disney’s Ms. Marvel, which hints at some serious connections between Marvel comic’s two characters.
